Welcome to Wager2Go.com | Print |  E-mail

jenny11So I've been hanging around waiting for Wager2Go to realunch their site. As Wager2Go continues to excel in providing the most comprehensive news and analysis as it pertains to the mobile gaming industry, they upgraded to a new data centre and some updated software.

We are excited about bringing you the latest mobile news with phones like Apple and Google and their seem to be some new players on the landscape. My buddy Benny has been playing with a few of these new toys and will hopefully give you a review if I can ever get him out of his mom's basement.

Keep us a "favorite" on your computer so that you may stay tuned into the most relavent and current information available.  And if you see something that catches your eye, click on the link. Our job is to get you to the information your crave.

And don't be shy to throw those techie questions to our resident GEEK Benny. He's here to help. And being he still lives in his mothers basement and only comes out to obuy more duct tape (used to hold his glasses together), he has nothing but time on his hands. Well we hope it is only time on his hands.Surprised

We are also proud to offer commentary we will soon be offering in spanish as well, so that our Latin American friends can join in our discussions and become familiar with industry events. Look for the "As Manny See's It"  column in a weekly commentary. Cool

Should all online gambling be legalized in the United States? (2,532 votes) showed a very conclusive result: Yes - 91 percent No - 9 percent The CNBC poll is the latest in a series of online gambling polls that have sent a strong very message to legislators that the American

public wants the online casino industry regulated instead of prohibited. The Wall Street Journal conducted a big poll earlier this year with similar results where 85% said they dont want a ban. All the polls seem to indicate VERY strongly that America has no appetite for prohibition! Some industry trade groups and other critics say the House bill, which passed 317-93 in March, is hypocritical and very unfair because of exemptions for horse racing and state-operated lotteries. "It is senseless that these legislators and their staffs are wasting Congress' time trying to develop prohibitory bills that satisfy various vested interest groups," said Keith Furlong, deputy director of the Internet Gaming Council, a trade association for the online gaming industry, which opposes the legislation. The proposed Goodlatte's and Senator Jon Kyl bill to the Senate the online gambling anti-internet gaming (bill H.R. 4411), leaves out horse racing, and lotteries so the H.R. 4411 will that way be supporting online horse racing, and lotteries - so it would be okay to gamble online on horse racing but online poker will get banned - what an insane bill!. If these politicians really cared about gambling addictions and about minors gambling online, they would work on ways to regulate this form of gambling, just as real world gambling is regulated," Furlong said. More and more countries are opening up to controlled regulated online gambling.YES OVER 80 countries worldwide including the UK, are right now starting to legalized and regulated online gambling and online poker gambling. "We should be clarifying the law in the opposite direction. Legalizing Internet gambling and regulating the online gambling industry as Britain has done, is the absolute best way to toughen protections against gambling by minors, identify problem gamblers. Also telling American adults how to use their hard-earned money, whether on e-bay auction, horse racing or on playing online poker after a hard days work, should not be the federal government's job. The voice of reason in all this appears to be that of Rep. Jon Porter. Congressman Porter has proposed an initiative to carry out a bi-partisan Congressional investigation into online gambling before trying to ban it- Jon Porter bill has 42 co-sponsors.

Great site! A friend told me about this site. I love the move toward 'mobile' gaming. Your news is timely and accurate.

I must tell you all...this site is awesome. updated daily, great clients partners, and news as it happens.

I have been using mobile for some time and I will tell you, it is not always for real money, but I do play about 100.00 per month.

Golden Palace offers I see here are better than I see elsewhere as well.
Casino St. Tropez

Why would you put a link to that BS site? I have been calling them, and they have been promising me mobile since February. Every month its another BS excuse and some lame reason why I should check it out the following month. Well I'm sick of it Vegas Magic and Golden Palace - Great games and no promises of tomrrow.
I don't know who runs this site - but calling them mobile is like calling is like calling Bush smart!
Get their crap off this site.

We do our best to keep the best of breed on our promotions table.

We are currently happy with the Golden Palace site but are not enthused at all about the marketing effort applied by them to enhance mobile adoption.

Same for Casino Tropez.

Like you, we too have received some unfullfilled promises from several companies that are currently mobile enabled.

We appreciate your input and will monitor Golden Palace and all other mobile enabled sites for the effort they put forth toward global adoption of the mobile feature.

We want our viewers to only play with the best companies out there!

I like Golden palace and Vegas Magic!

ghostwriter, are you saying that Vegas Magic and Golden Palace have not delivered? I play both of them and they are awesome in my experience.

I agree with you about the St. Tropez site. When I called to ask about mobile, they said they use Playtech's technology. Perhaps that is the proplem with them.

The ONLY sites that I have been able to download onto my cell phone, which is not the most current by any means is the sites supported by Phantom Fiber. Some of the other mobile sites will only cater to 20-30 phones, most of which need to be relatively new phone technology, not my old LG. ONLY
